Building on the skills explored in the Portraiture I course, this workshop focuses on location portraiture as well as advanced studio lighting. Through weekly lecture and in-class shoots, students will learn to recreate studio lighting on location through use of portable flashes, ambient light and lighting modifiers. In addition, new studio skills will be introduced including glamour lighting, gels and creative backgrounds. As in the previous portrait workshop, regular in-class photo shoots and critique as well as discussion and analysis of contemporary portraiture will help reinforce course content and support each student to as they continue to develop their personal style and begin the creation of their portraiture portfolio.
