Lighting For Portraiture
This course is an intensive introduction to methodologies of portrait lighting, teaching photographers how to use light creatively to make compelling pictures of people. Topics covered will include use of existing light, speedlights and studio lighting. Guided instructor demonstrations will explore shooting techniques in conjunction with the various light sources in the studio and outdoors (weather contingent). This is a fun, fast paced workshop geared towards anyone who wants to grow their understanding of lighting. Students will receive group instruction as well as one-on-one feedback throughout the duration of the workshop, no flash experience necessary but a basic understanding of the DSLR a must!
Digital Camera I or equivalent
To participate in this class, student must be 18 years of age or the minimum of a high school graduate (or the equivalent).
