Intro to Video: Adobe’s Premiere

This course combines instruction of Adobe Premier with professional DSLR video capture, lighting, audio recording and interview techniques. In the early weeks students will be given canned footage in order to learn how to wield the software and practice editing before embarking on their own Multimedia projects for the remaining 3 weeks. Discussions on relevant main content, B-Roll and shooting styles will give students a framework for their own short pieces.

No Previous video capture experience necessary. Students must have their own DSLR or mirrorless camera which captures Video. Tripods and sound equipment will be demonstrated and available to students during class time only.

To participate in this class, student must be 18 years of age or the minimum of a high school graduate (or the equivalent).
