Fine Art Architecture – Fan Pier Park
Learn how to create impactful and original fine art images of a subject by using long exposures to create a unique aesthetic and mood. On day one, the class will venture into the landscape and spend the day photographing at Fan Pier Park on the waterfront. Students will learn how set up in the field, determine optimal exposure and work with filters to create an image concurrent with their vision. On day two, students will focus on processing the files in Photoshop to create high quality finished pieces. This is an advanced level course, students enrolling must have a thorough knowledge of manual exposure and be comfortable with all camera controls.
*Snow Day: March 11th and 12th
DSLR or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses (preferably wide angle)
A Sturdy tripod
A remote shutter release
A set of neutral density filters (10 stop minimum. 13-16 stops is ideal)
To participate in this class, student must be 18 years of age or the minimum of a high school graduate (or the equivalent).
