Alternative Process – Wet Plate
This two day workshop is a fun introduction to wet plate printing, one of the most exciting of the antique processes in the fine art world. It was made famous by such master photographers such as Fenton, Brady, and more recently Sally Mann. Learning wet plate is a contemplative journey of creative expression which allows the artist the hands on experience of a painter or sculptor. Looking for a thoughtful way to reconnect to your voice as an artist, be a part of the recent revival in alternative processes!
All supplies will be provided, simply bring appropriate clothing for a darkroom experience.
To participate in this class, student must be 18 years of age or the minimum of a high school graduate (or the equivalent).
