Find a Photographer

The Student Services Office enables individuals, companies or other photographers to find a student or a graduate of our Professional Photography Program for photographic work in a timely manner. Job leads are posted directly to our online Job Portal in real time; from the portal, alumni of the Professional Photography Program and students in the second year of the program may access job leads. Because of the volume of individuals accessing this information, you may experience a high response rate. We find that most people using our placement service are able to hire a student or graduate from NESOP. If you would like to use our service, please fill out the form below. Please be as specific as possible in the information you provide regrading the job that you have or the kind of photographer you need.

Do you need a photographer immediately? If you have an urgent job, please fill out the form then contact the Main Office at 617-437-1868 for further assistance.

ALERT:  An important notice for those seeking a photographer

NESOP takes great pride in its Professional Photography Program and in its students and alumni.  The network of talented, skilled and professional individuals who matriculate through our program and become professional photographers remain among the industry’s best-prepared and most creative, skilled visual problem-solvers, artists and media professionals.

That said, we want to alert you to an ongoing issue with one of our graduates that many clients have reported to NESOP:  Per these reports, Edwin Penalba, a NESOP alumnus, has repeatedly failed to honor his contracts and commitments to his clients and, despite both NESOP’s and his clients’ attempts to encourage Edwin to work to resolve these issues, he remains unresponsive.  In some cases, he has failed to appear for jobs; in others, he has failed to deliver images on time or at all in direct conflict with the terms of his contract(s).  While Edwin has been removed from NESOP’s placement service, we believe it is important to alert anyone who has hired him or is considering hiring him to these reports.

As a Professional Photography Program, we expect that our graduates perform as professionals, produce quality work, honor their contracts and commitments and work to resolve any conflicts that may occasionally occur with clients.  And, we are proud to say that they do!  It is extremely uncommon that we receive a client concern or complaint about one of our graduates, and while NESOP is not an agent for its student or graduate photographers and cannot act as such, we are deeply disappointed and regret that several individuals have reported having had such a negative experience with this particular graduate, and so we felt obligated to offer this information to anyone planning on working with Edwin and we hope that those impacted by his unprofessional behavior are able to eventually address their concerns with him and move forward.
