Admission Procedures for International Students 1. International applicants must supply the following documents: | a. | Completed, signed and dated Admission Application. | | b. | A document certifying the applicant’s ability to meet the financial costs of tuition, photo supplies, equipment and living expenses. | | c. | A school or test certification of the ability to speak and understand the English language. | | d. | Complete, official high school grade transcripts, translated to English. The transcript(s) must indicate a level of education equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma. Transcripts must include the date of your graduation and must be an original document from the awarding institution. | | e. | A photocopy of your high school diploma. | | f. | A photocopy of your passport and/or national identification card. | | g. | Be sure you have started the application process early enough so that you are able to complete and submit all enrollment paperwork (i.e., tuition deposit and Enrollment Agreement) to the school no later than three months prior to the start date of the program in which you intend to enroll. | All documents should be sent, with a non-refundable $25.00 application fee (payable by cash, check, money order or credit/debit card—please do not mail cash) to: New England School of Photography Admissions Department 537 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, Massachusetts 02215 USA
Note: Application fees paid by credit card or debit card must be accompanied by a completed credit card/debit card authorization form. This form is attached to the Admission Application. 2. Upon receipt of your application materials, the school will contact you to arrange an interview. Though a personal interview is preferable, telephone interviews are common for international students and are acceptable. 3. After all application materials have been received and the admissions interview is complete, you will be notified of the Academic Director’s decision by mail. 4. Accepted applicants must sign an Enrollment Agreement and make a $500.00 tuition deposit. 5. Upon receipt of the tuition deposit and Enrollment Agreement, the school will forward a U.S. Immigration Form I-20M-N to you, permitting entrance to the U.S. as a student.
